>>Deckmaster option<<
>>Basics<<
1. When a Deckmaster is destroyed you lose the duel (this includes if it is removed from play (although DimensionHole would not destroy your deckmaster, so you can play it on your deckmaster without losing)
2. A Deckmaster cannot be destroyed the turn it is summoned other than by Battle.
3. Deckmasters in the Deckmaster position are UNAFFECTED by all magic, trap, and monster effects.
4. Deckmasters on the deckmaster position are still face-up on the field so Amazon Archer as your Deckmaster boosts Amazoness Paladin by 100.
5. If fiber jar is used then the deckmaster are put back into the deckmaster field instead of the deck and have to wait the number of turns again unless the deckmaster says different. This affect also works for any card that says to put it back into the deck or hand.
>>Before The Duel<<
1. If you select a monster as your Deckmaster you cannot have it in your deck as well
2. the deck minimum when using a Deckmaster is 41, one space is required for a Deckmaster.
3. the higher the ATK of the monster the longer you will have to wait to special summon it, keep that in mind.
4. Any monster with an ATK value of more than 3000 cannot be used as a deck master except if you ritual summon it and use your deckmaster.
5. Any fusion monster with an attack value of more than 2600 cannot be used as a deck master unless you fused your deckmaster when it was put into play.
>>Summoning your Deckmaster<<
All Deckmasters can be Special Summoned to the field. The thing is some monsters have to wait a certain amount of turns before you can special summon them. But, these are the rules in general.
Deckmasters with 1800 ATK or less: These monsters may be Special Summoned at any.
Deckmasters with 1850 - 2350 ATK: These monsters can be Special Summoned during and any time after your 3rd turn (6 turns in total).
Deckmasters with 2400 ATK and up: These monsters can be Special Summoned during and any time after your 5th turn (10 turns in total).
Some monsters have special requirements, to be summoned. These rules don't apply to them; keep in mind "Pyro Clock of Destiny" does not apply to Deckmasters.
Remember, you can Special Summon them during your opponent's turn.
